Ordinary rollers refer to cylindrical rotating objects in machinery. Commonly used power sources (such as motors) in machinery drive the rollers to drive other materials forward, or use the rollers to generate pressure to process the materials.

Classification of rollers

Roller diameter selection: 25mm, 32mm, 38mm, 42mm, 50mm, 57mm, 60mm, 76mm, 80mm, 89mm. Roller material selection: carbon steel galvanized, carbon steel chrome plated, carbon steel coated, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, ABS, etc. Roller type selection: unpowered roller, single chain roller, double chain roller, "O" belt roller, tapered roller, grooved roller. Roller fixing method: spring-loaded type, inner pin type, full flat tenon type, through pin type.

Divided according to process flow: calendar roll, calendar roll, casting roll, etc .;

Divided by function: heating roller, cooling roller, diverting roller, idler roller, etc. According to the structure, there are seamless steel tube rollers, forging and centrifugal casting rollers.

Roller production requirements

1. The roller should have sufficient rigidity to ensure that the bending deformation does not exceed the allowable value under heavy load.

2. The surface of the roller should have sufficient hardness, and generally requires HRC above 50 degrees, and has strong corrosion resistance. The coating has anti-stripping ability, which ensures that the working surface of the roller has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

3． The working surface of the roller should be finely machined to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface roughness. The roughness should be above Ra0.16, and there should be no pores or grooves. The wall thickness of the working surface of the roller should be uniform, otherwise the temperature of the roller surface will be uneven and the product quality will be affected.

4． The material of the roller should have good thermal conductivity. Generally, cold hard cast iron is used. In special cases, cast steel or molybdenum chromium alloy steel is used. Whether it is heated or cooled, it can achieve rapid uniformity.
